Return To Base of Missouri each year works with Great American Outfitters and Donors to Provide an Outstanding Outdoor Experience outside of the RTBMO Base Camp. In 2026, thanks to the generosity of an RTBMO Donor, two Veterans from Missouri will be filling what most hunters consider a “Bucket List” hunt for Elk near Telluride, Colorado. We’ve recruited these Veterans thanks to our relationship with the Joshua Chamberlain Society in St. Louis and our network of Veterans and supporters. Most expenses for this hunt have been donated by the private outfitter and the remainder of the expenses (Travel, Licenses and Processing, etc.) are being taken care of by the RTBMO. If not for the strong support of our RTBMO Donors, these two Veterans would not be able to experience this fantastic Colorado Elk Hunt!
